I have worn a crucifix for many years now and I have tried many "remedies" to assist in overcoming temptation and none has been so effective as this!  The act of visualizing the crucified Lord now has a tactile element (very much like a rosary during prayer) which strengthens my resolve.  Combine this with the Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel and you will find some Amazing weapons for those spiritual battles.
