Sermon: "Chutzpah"

I'm not sure why it is, but I have been writing the sermons out longhand and they seem to come so much easier. Maybe there is something about a real blank sheet of paper instead of that blank screen that makes for a better connection regarding things spiritual.

The sermon is here. Blessings to you all.

That's the only way I've ever written them. Write them out, then type them up.

I don't think it's so much the blank sheet of paper vs. a blank screen as it is that, for me, I can follow it much easier. Having the paper spread out on my desk just makes it easier to track and rearrange paragraphs and/or sentences rather than trying to scroll continuously looking for something.

So yeah .... pen and paper to begin with, and then computer to finish.

I will likely have to keep this practice up as it preached well also. Agree Todd... it is much easier just to draw a line through something or arrow pointing here or there. I don't know what the word is I'm looking for, but it is much more "natural."
